Nearly 3,50,000 staff already working under E-commerce business industry, India’s E-Commerce Sector would likely to generate nearly 2.5 lakhs jobs in the online retail in the next year including temporary employees, supply chain, logistics, ancillary units etc.
This was said by various online & E-Commerce Industry experts from Amazon, Paytm, Woxa-Technologies etc while interacting with over 3000 Job Seekers in 39th Aryans Job Fest held today at Adesh Group of Colleges. Over 245 Candidates have got shortlisted out of in one day Job Fest by over 56 Companies.
Top recruiters including Paytm, Pumpkart along with 25 more companies today participated in Adesh Job Fest held at Adesh Group of Institutions, Chandigarh. Over 250 candidates got shortlisted by over 25 companies out of over 2500 walk-ins in the fest.
“Paytm had added 20 million new customers since the Government’s move to demonetize old Rs 500 and Rs 1,000 notes and proportionality the ratio of new recruitments have got increased” while started with just Rs 20,000 in 1998 and grown upto Rs 30-35 cr the largest online pump store in India-Pumpkart has shifted their approach to Technology, Digitalization and e-commerce. This was quoted by the company representatives while addressing the students.
Dr. H.S Gill, Chairman, Adesh Group while congratulating and motivating the students said that in the competitive world, you need to be agile and smart and move forward. He further said that with huge hiring requirements, this job fest would facilitate recruitment and enable jobseekers to fulfill their aspirations and meet the need of today’s Industry.
Over 150 candidates have got shortlisted by around 15 companies in the Adesh Job Fest held today at Adesh Group of Institutions, Chandigarh. The fest witnessed over 1500 walk-ins from different parts of the country.
Congratulating and thanking all the candidates and participating companies, Dr. H.S Gill said that Punjab has become the hub of education and now is emerging as the hottest job markets in India. With huge hiring requirements, the job fest would facilitate recruitment and enable jobseekers to fulfill their aspirations and meet the need of today’s Industry.
The fest witnessed job seekers from various parts of the North India. Of the total number of participants, 60% of the jobseekers were at the fresher level, 25% at mid management and 10% at senior level. It was a multi-industry job fest, with participating companies from IT, ITES, Education, Medical and Manufacturing among the top.
